WEST END WRITERS

West End Writers is a new friendly Writing Group seeking to promote and encourage writers of all levels through a variety of activities including Manuscript Discussions and Workshops.

ST JAMES' CHURCH FESTIVAL EVENTS

Harvest Festival - this will be held on the weekend of 1st to 3rd October with a Barn Dance on Friday and Harvest Fayre on Saturday with many different stalls.  On Sunday there will be a HOPE charity lunch and Choral Evensong celebration to round it off.

Christmas Tree Festival - this will be held on 26th to 28th November with trees decorated by organisations from around the Parish, and concerts and entertainment throughout the weekend. 

ONE COMMUNITY

On Thursday mornings One Community provide a service for residents unable to walk to West End Village to enable them to visit the Centre, the Post Office and the Library and local volunteer, Brian Smith, holds a coffee morning in the Parish Centre.  If you wish to register for this service contact the Parish Office on 023 80 462371.

WEST END MUSEUM

Run by West End Local History Society based at The Old Fire Station, Orchards Way, West End
The Museum has recently had a facelift ! Well worth a visit ! Open Saturdays from 10.00 a.m.—4.00 p.m.
